Serenity Lake is my private sanctuary created by God using my skills and hands.
Serenity Lake
Everything you see in this eye catching photo was created by me and my God given skills except for blue skies and white clouds. God supplied the water.
Serenity Lake
These Weeping Willow trees provide wonderful fall color as the limbs dance on the water surface.

serenity Lake
A beautiful fall day as the sun reflects on the water. thank You God !!!
Serenity Lake
Mallard Ducks enjoy November on the water. I built this lake for irrigation water for growing nursery stock.
God provided the wildlife.
Serenity lake
I designed & built this lake including the stone over flow. I grew all evergreen trees from 8 inch seedlings.
Notice their reflection in the water.
Serenity lake
I have planted hundreds of evergreen trees grown at my nursery in order to create heaven on earth for me with total privacy by blocking out completely the house in the far distance.
Renovation
A wider pathway for equipment to cross over Serenity lake. Removal of trees & boulders is just the beginning.
Wall & Pipe
Placing a new 3 ft. pipe along with Keystone wall system in early stages at Serenity lake
Construction
Here I am installing 40 ft. of 36 inch pipe so we may have access to the rear field.
Construction
Here I am placing the pipe so that the water flows into Serenity lake precisely in between the two weeping willow trees.
Excavation
Beginning of back filling & compacting of clay soil around & over 3 ft. pipe.
Serenity lake
When I first started to think of what could became Serenity Lake, I had a lot of trees & honeysuckle to remove. Checkout the background in this shot.
Excavation
Using a small excavator is required on some job-sites. Looks like fun.
Construction
Excavation occurs up-stream.
Construction
Building a small Keystone wall as water prepares to go through the new 3 ft. pipe to fill Serenity Lake.
Serenity Lake
Hauling top-soil before installing grass seed, starter fertilizer. Healthy turf requires 3-4 inches of good top-soil.
Keystone wall
The keystone wall is ready for 57 gravel back fill to help with water drainage before we glue down solid caps.
Serenity lake
How peaceful & calm after a winter snow fall at Serenity Lake. This is when Joe the dog & I always go for walks around the property. Harmony.
Serenity lake
Here I am looking down from Dillons mountain I built behind Serenity lake.
A very panoramic view.

Serenity lake is my outdoor creation & experience with gods amazing grace.
This is my outdoor sanctuary.
Rock hound
Here I am preparing the soil for seeding. The Rock-hound attachment on our Bob-Cat removes all rocks & debris while creating the perfect seed bed for grass seed.
Ready for grass seeding
The soil has been graded, compacted, rock-hounded & is now ready for grass seed along with starter fertilizers.
Irrigation
After grass seeding, water is applied to start germination. This tractor & pump can supply up to 3000 gallons of water per minute for the 1500 ft. of irrigation pipe that we have.
Serenity lake
Grass seed has come up very well this fall. I hauled in over 425 tons of soil. I finished graded & sewed grass seed, starter fertilizer. Nice gentle slope easy for mowing.
Serenity lake
I notice little details. Look how the 3 ft. pipe is centered in the middle of
2 weeping willow trees at Serenity lake.
